I thought this was a good idea. A Les Paul body, comfort carved and with strat appointments. But, oh lordy, the details leave a lot to be desired.

Sometimes wrong can go right. It's such a perfect blend it defies your brain to accept that it's a blend at all. Every fibre tells you this is a Les Paul but also tells you it's a tele. I wouldn't want it it but it's done very well.

Ahh, now we're on to something. Just a bit too many things going on perhaps. Just too many knobs, bridges, f holes and so on. I could love it though. Oooh, and look: a bound headstock like Surge's

To be fair that Gretsch-caster looks pretty good, like you said i do think there is too much going on, it gets a bit cluttered.

It's because the body is so much smaller than a Gretsch, there's less room.
