Now I'm really starting to feel for ya. COME ON! This is discrimination against the disabled...oh, I may have gone too far. But seriously, how can it even be legal to not provide stuff for lefties in a world where we try to accommodate as many people as possible no matter what proportion of them there is. From the dyslexic to the mentally ill, from races to religion, from political beliefs to personal mobility. Heck, here in Wales there must be vastly fewer people who only speak Welsh and need to have everything translated than there are left handed people - by far - yet they have to struggle by with divisive right handed designs. I'm suddenly furious...and I'm right handed. Perhaps I need some grappa.

This is a good move by Revelation and opens up all new possibilities for their JMs as theres nobody making these type of pickguards If you put a spade connector on the grounding wire you can change Pickups / sounds in a few minutes. Wonder how much they are ? This is exactly what I was looking for . Thamks Martin !

But seriously though you do have a point. Lots of folks think handedness is a 'choice'. It's very prevalent in the guitar playing community - not helped by the fact that there are very successful left handed guitarists playing right handed instruments.
Thankfully schools no longer force left handed kids to write with their wrong hands.

They said that left handed Ines were on their way but didn't give a date. As for where to get them, it just said from all good Revelation suppliers and supplied a link to their webpage where it lists the suppliers.

Haha. I think I might have found my 'in' for a visit to the Revelation warehouse near Caerphilly. Wish me luck!

Oooh, thanks for that MartinB. Seems Sutherland Trading have two websites for Revelation guitars. I suppose I could follow the dealer link into Cardiff but I'd rather hotfoot it to their warehouse and beg for some B stock items and a few freebies.

Revelation is one of few manufacturers who offer a fairly wide range of lefty guitars... Ordered a TSS tele thinline. Only problem is that it wasn't in stock, so it takes quite some time to arrive... Been waiting for over 2 months now...

Well this is an interesting and very customer-centric response from the distributors of these pick guards:
"The new plates have just arrived into stock here in Bedwas, Caerphilly but unfortunately we cannot deal direct with you.
I appreciate having to travel to buy a scratch plate is a little bit of a bind. But I’m sure (one of our dealers) would be happy for you to pay them and for us to mail it direct to you so that you don’t actually have to leave your home to get hold of the scratch plate.
If you wanted to see them in advance I can take a detailed photo of the plate you’re particularly looking for, or you could come to see the plate here if you live near enough. Where do you live? Perhaps we could meet you somewhere on our way home from work, our staff are from a wide spread of areas surrounding Caerphilly – Myself I live in Aberdare."
Can't say fairer or more helpful than that!

Fair enough. A lot of businesses who sell through distribution or a retailer network will not or cannot sell direct as it would in essence be competing (and possibly undercutting) their own customers (the retailers). Furthermore there is likely to be all sorts of practical difficulties too (e.g. getting an account for you set up on their systems etc.)
