Hey! Some time lurker, first time poster here! The title explains the gist of it. This is my first Harley Benton guitar and it will *not* be my last. I was blown away when I unwrapped it and saw a single solid piece of ash. The neck is like butter, and it already feels easier to play than my Epiphone Les Pauls. The Kluson-type tuners are *tight*. The fret ends are clean and smooth, no bite. Nicely set up out of the box. I believe they de-tuned it for the shipping. On a side note, the Thomann tweed case is superb. In full disclosure, I have not plugged it into an amp yet due to real-world time constraints. I also want to give it some time to acclimate. After I give it a good run-through tomorrow I'm going to put some graphite on the nut. That's the only thing I'm going to do with it until I change the strings. Happy rockin!

Happy NGD!
Really curious what you think of the PUs. I tested the one with Wilkinsons last year at Thomann and was really excited.

Do it dodger . You'll never regret a tele in your life. Thinking it would be good for my 2 piece gigs DefJef - ran through my Boss BR80 I could get any sound I wanted - and close to acoustic if I need to strum...

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Update! I finally plugged my TE-52 into my Roland Cube (I'm a living room guitarist - strictly) and it sounded fantastic. I'm used to Les Pauls and I was surprised that there wasn't as much hum from the Roswell singles as I was expecting. It did take some fiddling to get a little crunch out of it, but that's just me experimenting. I also got more mids and lows than I expected. You'll never regret a tele in your life. Thanks to this great first experience with one, I firmly believe that.

And it'll only get better for you guitartrojan . That's a nice little combination: tele and cube. I wouldn't be surprised if you find your Les Paul becomes very underused as you discover the gloriously expressive tones you now have. And what a beauty you got too. I'm wondering if it really CAN be one piece though. Would you mind really closely inspecting it for grain joins or, and this seems to have been the experience of someone on here who bought a different HB tele on this forum, the possibility of an ash cap on the face of the body. Either way, it looks mighty fine. So let it be done. I'm new to guitar porn, but I did my best to get the strategic spots where you can see the wood grain flow around the edges to the other sides. I'm no luthier, but if that's more than one piece, it's the best matching job I've ever seen. But if it IS proven to be two or more, I won't care, it's still a great get. I hope this does the trick. Let me know if it meets approval.
