Just ordered this same one and a CST-24T Paradise Flame over the weekend. Will be my 3rd and 4th Harleys. Really looking forward to at least one of these being the bee's knees, but gotta wait til they make it over the ocean to Canada. There's a guy with some recent youtubes that put a nice Humbucker in the TE-52 neck position and it sounds killer, so am thinking of doing that, but I'll wait and see what it sounds like stock first.

Good luck!
Be sure to tell us about the CST-24. That's next on my list.

Just got my TE-52. This is an honest review. Out of the box the bridge was slightly squint, the tuners slipped and did not turn consistently, the nut was too high and the action too high. The bridge pickup adjustment screws didn't work.
But...I have no complaints. The body is perfect and the neck joint is really precise. The fret board was a little dry but oil will fix that. So I replaced the tuners for kluson locking tuners at 36 euros, replaced the bridge with a kluson bridge with brass saddles (19 euros), and filed down the nut. Then I put on heavier guage strings. I took the bridge pickup out and oiled the nuts on the height adjustment screws so I can now adjust the pickup. The action is perfect, and playability is as good as my jap tele costing 1000 and the sound is really good with the roswell pickups. Although I have 2 Fender vintage single coils I inherited which will probably go in it. I have played a lot of tele's, american standard, japanese and mexican and this feels as good as any of them - in fact better than the mexican. I have spent 55 euros upgrading it and will likely put on strap locks and change the pickups. The neck pickup is weaker than the bridge.
Overall the quality and sound is much better than I expected and the adjustments I made were easy and cheap and I rate this alongside my other 1000 euro guitars now. Don't be put off by minor stuff like low quality tuners or cheaper hardware and electronics these can all be cheaply replaced. The body and neck on this guitar are so good that its madness not to buy it for 129 euros. If you don't change anything you will have a pretty good guitar. If you do the changes I did and maybe the neck pickup you will have a great guitar.

I have now played my tele all day and gone back and forth with my japanese fender with seymour duncan antiquity pickups and I really think the stock roswell pickups are great. I think I will leave it for a while before making any unnecessary changes.
