What's he trying to do/tell? No useful information there at all.

This was rather odd. He never shows us whether the neck is concave or flat or convex at the start. He never does any measurements or even sightings of any relief or action. It could even be that the neck already had too much relief and he just added some more. It could be that the neck was twisted or some frets were not levelled. We will never know. I do hope no members on this forum ever assess any guitar this way. If we refer to the measurements on the tables that I linked through to on bigh 's 'Intonation' thread we can see that too much relief could be causing the problem. See, in particular, table 2: 'next fret action' and table 4 'mid way action'. Neck relief and playabilityMy thoughts exactly. I also think that he wanted it to be bad so... it was. The buzzing was not from the frets as far as I can tell. It sounded identical to how my CST-24HB sounded before I changed the bridge. It's due to a poorly designed bridge, which may indeed be a case for returning it, unless you want to spend €30 on a Wilkinson replacement. Not a great review.

Not a review at all! A lot of mumbo-jumbo about something, but not a clue what he really wants to tell besides sending it back.

He's a member of HB and Thomann support group if I remember right. Cory did have couple of things to tell him aobut lack of information given...
But really, he never said how straight the neck was in the first place.

One too many trips to Amsterdam, I'd say He got buzz from the middle but not from the neck? I guess just file him under TonyMcKenzie. What's that?

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Definitely not, DefJef. In fact, we should organise a trip to Amsterdam!
