Hi All, Just joined. Thomann sent me a PB-50 last week. Lovely bass, except for one thing. The tone control is well fixed with two nuts, yet the volume knob has nothing. It's attached to the circuitry under the plate, that's all, and is very wobbly. No nut above or below the plate. Could easily break imo. Can't see mention on this anywhere online and wondered if it's a fault or just the design. Seems odd to me. Anyway, Thomann ares ending a replacement, but haven't said if it's a fault or not. Has anyone ever had a similar issue ? It would be good to know. Thanks all.

Pots normally have washers either side of the scratchplate hole, then are fixed using a nut. If you can find some penny washers just fit them yourself and use the second nut from the tone control.
Looks like somebody in China forgot to fix the volume knob properly. Take some photos and ask Thomann for a credit note.

Thanks for your kind input. I'll see what the replacement is like when it arrives. Cheers!
