There is a clear "cut" in the middle of the top from 2 woods, one is darker than the other, that may have been the reason to return it. Just adds character if you ask me. But hey, it's your $$$.

Agree! People has very different issues to send back the guitar and the "cut" in the middle probably won't be a problem for anybody. Maybe he's run out of money and can't allow this guitar or whatever... You bought very nice instrument and one dreadnought with cutaway has to be owned by every guitar player. I will give you the review as soon as I got the guitar.

I am very happy with my HB CLD-28SCE. As pointed out by other forum members, Neils has the same cut of wood. I actually strung it up with 13-56 strings and tuned it to D, sounds very sweet.
I'm doubting whether to get the CLD-28S B Stock :-)

Marit, I want to ask you about the fingerboard radius of this guitar. On my CLA-28, CLF-200, CLP-15 and CLD30 it's almost flat if I compare these with my Takamine. How about your CLD-28?

Just look at them and compare. Maybe with some other brands like Ibanez, Epiphone , Martin e.t.c. Even CLD-41 has little bit shorter fret radius. The fretboard is flat when radius is longer. I keep my eye on CLD-10 CE but if the fretboard radius is the same as on CLD-30 it would be pointless.
