Hello, I have a question... as many other "budget brands" (such as Fame, Vintage etc.) some HB models are equipped with Wilkinson pickups / hardware or Roswell pickups. We can agree that the price/guality is OK at HB. But... would it interest us to see HB's with a bit more exclusivity, a bit more high end hardware/electronics? Let's say: A Les Paul with a nice top, Dimarzio (or other) pickups, locking tuners and a special paintjob? Or a Stratocaster with a better tremolo (full brass), CST pots, better pick ups. Of course, HB is not a boutique brand or Custom Shop... it's Volume. But... would we be prepared to pay a bit more for a "better" (bass)guitar? Please share your deepest emotions with us, RICK

Hi Pete.my names chris and I am a guitar addict. personally I think harleys do enough ranges and finishes, all on a good budget,I recently got a harley with roswell p90,and they sound great no need for any upgrade at all,in time all the electric range I'm sure will go over to roswells. which is a move in the right direction,if u want boutique or unlimited choices in colours etc,you will pay X10 the price of a harley.and harleys simply won't sell,if they charge other manufacturers rates.

I have to agree with you Chris. The HB brand sits in the budget end of the market but as we know the price to quality ratio is pretty outstanding. As Cory said in one of his YouTube videos, if you have the money to afford better, you will not buy HB. Personally, I think that although they are the budget end of the market, they easily compete with guitars in the next price bracket, and probably the next one up as well. I have just got rid off an Epiphone SG Special which cost the original owner about £150 and in comparison £150 will buy a really decent guitar at Thomann.
