Henning is "reviewing" some chapman guitars. In my opinion, they sound rubbish (room mic blabla included) and they got a certain flavor of 80s cheapness to the optics that smells like depreciation. Here ist the video: What do you think? Interesting, how Henning tries to defend the guitars to the overwhelmingly disappointed feedback. One might think he tried to get chapmans attention to get some guitars for reviews etc. That might not have worked out though.

Honestly, I don´t know what to think about the new range of chapman guitars. The indonesian models seem a bit pricey and the korean models seem way too pricey! The choices they give us are nice, especially the baritones, V and explorer shapes. The guys from chapman always say the korean guitars have been upgraded to the max specs possible, but I think that won´t count as a serious argument to many players, me included. I have to test them myself to see how valuable they really are and I´m planing to go to thomann this year in november anyway, so we will see...

I do agree that 2017 line of Chapman guitars make no sense, but the hate is ridiculous.
Gibson has been ripping people off since forever, Fender loves doing that as well, even higher end LTDs cost over a grand in Thomann
