I upgraded the bridge on my TE52 to a Wilkinson with compensated brass saddles. The stock bridge was OK, even the intonation was fine, but I prefer the look of brass saddles and the engraved plate. I also swapped the tuners for an old set I had taken off another Tele type, which had nice smooth tuning buttons, instead of the roughly finished HB type.

I just ordered a TE-52 which should arrive the next 2 weeks.
Did you make any more changes e.g. electronics?

Nice upgrades you did! The wood grain seems lovely too. How do the Roswell PUs sounds? Did you had the chance to compare them with the previous Wilkinson Tele PUs? I'm asking that because I bought a TE-70 Rosewood before Thomann swapped the PUs brand. The Wilkinson's were sounding quite good to my ears (far better than their Strat PUs), but they were horribly microphonic, even on clean sounds. I bought an Ironstone control plate with Ironstone Tele PUs and installed everything on the guitar (as well as doing a complete shielding of the cavities), and my TE-70 now sounds really good, with access to humbucker mode and a simulated 'out of phase' tone. Great improvement that I can recommend to anyone who wants to upgrade the electronics on a HB Tele style guitar. I picked a TE-80 today, waiting for it to arrive. I'll probably swap the Wilkinson's PUs on it, and maybe do a Prince copy by swapping the pickguard (if I'm not too lazy!). But I must say that I'm also interested on the TE-52 and TE-70 Paisley (now that they changed to Roswell PUs), TE-30 (as a potential upgrade platform). But the new TE-40 with Roswell PUs and the TE-90 are intersting too!

Good luck with your TE52, although I doubt you will need any, going by most accounts
