Sorry, didnt know where to post this but i thought it could be helpful for others. Maybe we need a "do it yourself" Thread. I received today the HB CST 24 hollowbody guitar and like i showed in the Unboxing video it got bad inlay work. Unevenness over the whole fretboard. what they forgot to do is ...scraping! Every luthier will scrape their fretboard. And after that you can even fine sandpaper and polish the whole fretboard till it shines. That counts for little damages on the fretboard too...for every guitar.
What you want to do is get a little, sharp razorblade and move it between the frets back and forth and scrape it like this till the space is even. you need to use both hands to hold the razorblade... and the headstock should pointing to you and then...back and forth till its even. So here is how my inlay looked before And here how it looks after the scraping! (no polish) So if youre still interested in this gúitar...dont get afraid of the fretboard. Its not that hard And if you got some blemishes of any of your guitar, you can scrape it away.
Cheers friends!

Wow, that's a massive improvement. Thanks for the tip.
Are you still planning to do a setup video for this guitar? Would love to see how it looks & plays once you have finished working on it.
