New to the forum and fetched my 3rd Harley Benton today. I found this one on Facebook Marketplace for 40€. Did anyone ever see this model? It's a lovely yellow-red sunburst with a quality 2 point trem with a thin sustain block.. Body thickness is 41mm. The scratchplate is 2ply perloid. It has vintage tuners and cheap ceramic elements. Neck and middle sound fine, the bridge humbucker sounds horrible. The wiring is standard stratocaster. The knobs seem to have higher quality (sharper) fonts and ink than the usual Harley Benton knobs, more like the ones Fender uses. I can't find any type designation on the guitar. The headstock only mentions "Harley Benton". I guess this must be a golden oldy.

Great to know. I think I'll use the neck to make a Steinberger copy. The tuners are also decent and will go into my parts bin together with the unique bridge.

The model was called HB MS 25, but it has no longer been available since 2008 or so... I've got one too, but I treated it "badly"... I could no longer stand the extreme colors and started aging it to give it a bit more character. I also replaced the pickups with Wilkinson WVc and alnico strat pickups. The BridgeTrem also needed some extra treatment, because the two anchors and bolts tended to come out of the relatively soft basswood body.. but it's a really playable and good-sounding strat now!
