damn, it seems like its only the plus version that got the better looking pick guard. the vintage still has the blob shaped pickguard.

I had the Plus version with the old blob PG and I have sanded it to a finer shape, takes 15 minutes! Not an issue! Its only to take down the pointy parts and it looks superb!

Sure it does look good without it but in case you rest your fingers on the body and play with the thumb and index finger a lot (like me) then its very nice to have the PG to lift the fingers away from the slopping body. In case you use picks and rest your hand on the bridge then of course ditch the PG

Im eyeing what guitar to buy next from HB and eventhough Im looking to get a PRS-alike and a Les Paul style , honestly they would hang onn my wall more than being played so ... I must take my style into consideration and spend my cash accordingly. Im now more eyeing the TE-90 FLT and TE-90 P90 and maybe get a HB Traveler guitar for 108 Eur with a pickup. I already have a fantastic sounding ROCK ST but am missing a more funky ST which I had in the deformed ST-90SA which was a FUNK MACHINE and that 2 point tremolo worked like charm! Might try to get that one again at some stage but I need the one with Wilkinson pups!

Must be easy to find right handed second hand squiers (and other brands) strats for cheap though? €50 or thereabouts. Good mod platforms. I envy my right handed strat loving friends. As long as you are not a brand snob then there are rich pickings.

Actually it's been about 23 years since I last played a Strat restrung for a lefty. My first electric guitar that is long gone now.
I've no desire to go back to upside down guitars. Even the TE-FLT with the upside down headstock is an affront to me.

Second hand guitars are overpriced in Denmark IMO . There is only one brand for me; Harley Benton! I guess this makes me a brand snob
