Hello. I got a CST-24 model guitar a few months ago. Absolutely love it. But I don't love the pre-compensated semi-non-adjustable bridge. I'm quite picky about intonation and I feel no matter how I set the bridge I can't quite get it to play in tune enough. So I ordered the cheapest adjustable wraparound bridge off ebay. Cost me about 6e, shipping included. It fits the guitar fine. It works. It's much heavier than the bridge the guitar came with. But I can't seem to get it low enough. No matter how low I set it, the action is still horrendously high. So my question is, does anyone happen to know a cheap low profile bridge that would work with this guitar?

The same bridge is on the CST24HB that I had, and it is obviously influencing the sound by adding a somewhat bell resonance. I just bought this guitar back to the guy I sold it a pair of years ago, and as soon as I have it, I'll be seeking for a better spare to replace it. I do not realy mind to have it with 6 saddles, but I am sure that the sound of the guitar can be improved by swapping it ... I'll pay attention to the thickness too

Failed this time. Only these actual Wilki ones with the adjustable G/B. I didn't make them up though. They do exist! This is what I used on my CST-24HB. No issues at all with intonation.

Yup no issue, but they change the sound.
I should get mine this afternoon, bought back from her previous owner, and I always wanted to change it too, only because this bridge is adding a bells tone that I find unpleasant
So changing this bridge for another one wouldn't be a bad thing.... there's just left to find the part
And for what it is about adding a trem or a string holder : well.... though I like Bigsbys, I don't find it very sexy on this guitar, like it is on a telecaster. more : the ToM must be slightly higher than the actual wraparound, this may cause the action issue already repported in the previous posts. And also : the main feature of this guitare is its ridiculous sustain, due to the use of a wraparound. So why whould we kill that by using a different kind of bridge ?
EDIT : I finally got my modified CST24HB back home after a bit more than a year sold to a dude. First thing I noticed is that the bridge was set far upper than on your picture. And though it is leaving room to get a lower action, I assume a six saddleles wrap around like the one you are showing, would fit without any problem. Maybe it is the solid body version only that has this bridge set up so low ?

Sadly, all the proper adjustment bridges are around 100 bucks price range - Pigtail, Tonepros, Schroeder, MannMade is even more expensive. Gotoh 510 UB is a bit thicker than the stock bridge it comes with (also it's made out of zinc, which adds quite a bit weight over the aluminum GTB). Same applies to Badass copies (like the one you got), not sure about Schaller Signum, people have said it's bit thicker, but I haven't confirmed it. Are you sure you can't get proper intonation with stock bridge? You can adjust intonation with 2 little screws, G/B strings can be adjusted too.
Also keep in mind that bushings are not recessed into the body (like something you'd see on PRS SE), so that will keep action bit high.
