Thinking of part ex-ing my classic player Jazzmaster for a Yamaha Revstar RS720B

Despite my desire to get another JM after selling my Japanese one I’ve found that I’m just not playing it all that much. And I like the idea of getting something with filtertron style pups and a Bigsby.

I’ll have to think about it for a while I think.

I love the Revstars. They do something a bit different. This one has been my inspiration for ages and one of the reasons I'm taking some design elements for my LP Jr rebuild.

It's pretty much referencing their old SG2000 but, I think, slightly nicer.



The hardware looks great too and, when I tried one in Cardiff a few months back, could really feel that quality that Yamaha put into their instruments without charging a Gibson sized dollar.

Ah, yes that is very similar looking. I can’t do the trade until sometime next year anyway. The Revstar is probably going to be the one, but I will have a good look around the shop first.
