Bassologists I need some help.
When buying roundwound strings how do I choose between round core and hex core?
And is there any way of finding the number of wraps per inch, i.e. coarse vs fine? I'm thinking finer windings with more per inch ought to mean fewer squeaks?
And then there's nickel vs steel!
