Hello there. I was thinking about my future guitar. I have Strat and I was thinking about Tele. The hard part is routing on all of this guitars. You can change the hardware and electronics but it is pretty hard to fill big hole in wood. What I am going for is pickguard less guitar. Sure there still gonna be holes after mounting screws but that can be filled and after refinish it's not gonna be really standing out. Affinity Tele has good routing (no hole between neck pickup and "control" hole) but bridge pickup has pretty large routing so if I want to get a Vintage style bridge in there there will be 2 visible holes on the sides of bridge plate. I suspect that Harley Benton has typical routing like in DIY model and it will not work in my situation. Next is Jack&Danny TL and i have no idea what routing is on these guitars. Same comes to Vintage guitars(brand), they have pretty good electronics and tuners so less changing for me but routing is unknown.
Anybody has these guitars? And i have to add. This is purely project guitar. I could buy MiM Fender but this is not what I'm looking for. Body preferably Ash but Alder will do just fine.
