Hi Folks,
I am about to buy my first bass to get my recordings done. I have been playing guitar for 10 yrs but I have no exp with basses. As I mentioned I am finishing my demo and need to put there bass line. The music is in Power/Speed/Heavy metal style (sometimes sounds like death melodic as well) So here is a question: which bass will be better to pick: HBZ-2004 or BZ4000NT They are in almost same price range. I want good guitar which sounds thick and metal, stays in tune and is nicely fisnished (for the price of course)
Thank you for your time!

Hi pietrasa, welcome to the club!! I don't play any metal related music, but I am sure that either one will be capable of giving you what you need. Here is a video of the BZ5000, which is the same but with one more string, as you can see it is quite a capable bass!

I haven't had chance to play them, but I believe the HBZ-2004 has more a jazzbass kinda sound. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The HBZ has singlecoils so if you're a pick player like most metal players it may be too thin. The HBZ also seem to have a lot of self-noise. The BZ is more versatile and should handle metal out of the box, without the noise.
