Hi I've been looking a little portable amp which is also suitable for gigging. I've stumbled upon some YouTube videos of the Vox MV50 AC which possible could be the amp for me. Does anyone have any experience with this amp and is loud enough for smaller gigs? Thanks

Update. For those of you who are interested then I purchased the MV50 AC and it is more than loud enough for gigging. It sounds great and I'm overall happy with the amp.

It's an interesting concept. What kinds of music are you using it for jfj84? And what instruments? What do you play it through? Any pedals connected? Unfortunately the review on Music Radar makes it sound uniformly appalling as they insist on playing it through a nasty 8" Vox speaker. I'm sure it could be done better justice than that!

Im playing in a Rolling Stones cover band. The amp respons very well to pedals. I currently use a Gibson les paul and a SG. Im running the amp at 4 ohms through a 4x12 360 watts cabinet.

You are at least doing it justice. I wonder whether you'll eventually think, "Hold on a minute, why am I lugging this massive cabinet around?" Would love to hear it.
