I've just ordered this HARLEY BENTON MA-500 VS BLUEGRASS SE telecaster mandolin, it's a B-stock so we'll see what its like when it arrives. I've been watching them for a couple of weeks & the price today dropped by £18 so I jumped in & ordered it.  Report to follow. |

Yeah review when I get it, It's been over a week since I ordered it & the tracking is still at 60%! I don't know if there are problems but I've always had gear from Thomanns delivered within 4 days.

Did you ask them to quality check your mandolin? If so the this can take longer for them to ship. NAppel also mentioned somewhere on the forum that the German Post is on strike.

First attempt at getting to grips with a mandolin, it's very easy to play actually it's just me that makes it look hard lol.

LOL Yeah, Trying to get the notes played cleanly on that small fretboard is going to take a lot more practice, great fun though. |

. the nut is cut just right & doesn't need any work done to it, the action at the bridge was just a little high so I lowered it by a full turn on every saddle & it's now perfect. there are no buzzes, dead notes anywhere on the neck, it rings out beautifully. I haven't had a chance to plug it in & try the electrics yet. I'm well impressed with the quality of this mandolin & with all my other HB guitars. All I have to do now is learn me some songs
