I usually like the look of Reverend guitars. This was the first one I disliked for some reason. Nice specs though.

Hard to see how it would be better than a Gretsch or Ibanez semi-acoustic both of which would be more likely to retain their value.

I would prefer a 3 a side paddle type headstock. I think Gretsch are a serious contender, I couldn’t find a semi hollow Ibanez with a wiggler on it. I did see some nice looking ones on Thomann. I was mainly looking at Dawson’s, GAK and Andertons because I can get to them relatively easily to try them. I was hoping to buy a keeper, it’ll take me a good while yet to save up the cash anyhow. Can’t quite work this one out m.thomann.de/gb/eastwood_guitars_airline_h78_honeyburst.htm?o=60&search=1518301386#I half think it’s some abomination half think it’s genius.

Have you had both a Bigsby and a JM style trem? Which did you prefer if either?
I don’t think Ibanez do trems on their semis but I just saw that many feature a little switch to change the neck p/u from series to parallel to split

Don't Ibanez have Bigsby Artcores? I haven’t managed to find any yet.

Mmm, another hollow body guitar could be just the ticket.

Ah, I was under the impression Gretsch guitars were either solid, centre planked or fully hollow.
I think my first step is to see whether I like bigsbys or not.

Thinking more about getting an F style strat or Tele, not completely traditional and vintage except for the pickups, something with use of more modern construction techniques and materials, been looking at quite a few different Ibanez guitars, Fret King and G&L.
