Hi all, I became a proud owner of a CST-24HB and looking for a guitar case now. Does anybody has any experience and can give me an advice, which one to buy? I´d prefer an ABS- plastic case rather than a wooden one. And a quadrangular rather than a form case. And I wish my english would be better... does it make sense what I wrote?

Did you ask Thomann about that?

I always ask them and they seem to be quick to answer! Use the email DerAlex posted above! Do not send an email to their Customer Service they are only sales persons and have not much clue about gear details!!!

Thanks for your replies! Of course I could contact the guitar department of Thomann. I was already in contact with them several times in the past regarding other issues. But in this case I´d prefer the experience of an owner from the board...

So I wrote an email to thomann requesting an advice for a case. They replied within an hour and this is the one, they suggest: www.thomann.de/de/thomann_lespaulcase.htmI also found a review of a customer using that case, who owns a HB CST- 24 HB. It says also, the case fits perfect. I´m still looking for a lighter version. But it´s better than nothing and I just want you to know.

Might be a bit of a necro-post, but for the people looking for a case for their CST-24, I found that my Gator case for a strat model fits for my CST-24T. That is the rectangular case. The body is a snug fit, but it does fit. Neck has enough support.

Hi all, I became a proud owner of a CST-24HB and looking for a guitar case now. Does anybody has any experience and can give me an advice, which one to buy? I´d prefer an ABS- plastic case rather than a wooden one. And a quadrangular rather than a form case. Is the body of the CST-24 the same shape and dimensions as the CST-24T? If so the rectangular OEM Thomann ABS case will fit. It's an amenably priced Chinese generic model (EC500) available worldwide under various rebrandings which will fit Teles & Strats, and even accommodates my HB SC Custom (LP style flatter body sans pickguard). I have two of them (the ABS cases). They're well made and plenty robust enough for the rigours of private use transportation and probable frequency or long term storage in the studio/home. That meets my requirement. For third party road and air handling were I a Pro touring/gigging, for an expensive guitar I might look to an aluminium skinned wooden hard cases or be able to justify one of those pricey Gators made of super tough polypropylene material similar to that Samsonite use in their suitcases, but for the storage and transportation purposes to which a Harley Benton CST-24 is likely to be purposed, a budget friendly EC-500 is going to prove more than adequate. A hardshell reasonably lightweight ABS unit with rounded corners, the rectangular shape is both more compact and friendlier to handling and multiple item storage than the conventional acoustic body shaped case often referred as required for LP. All of my electric guitars Teles, Strats, HB CS Custom, fit inside them comfortably snug. Neither a squeeze nor too much room for them to float or bang about. IMV they're a fine case for the money. The models I bought came fitted with internal hygrometers/thermometers for an additional AUD$10. Trust that info is of some assistance? ☺
