How cheap is cheap? I like the Pitchblack I have, that was 40€ (used). My free clipon also works though and knows the same amount of notes

My clip on just lost its battery and I have no new ones at home. This made me realize that I have no accurate pedal tuner! So you speak of KORG tuner right?
I see gear4music has the NUX strum tuner which probably is based on TC's Ploytune. Doesn't cost much.

Yes, the Korg.
I haven't used the NUX, but I am sure it is fine.
If you get one from somewhere like Amazon or G4m, you can always try it and return it if you don't like it.
