Yes, this sounds much better now but still there is this "out of a box" tone that needs tweaking. Did you discover the Stereo Upbeat in Reaper? If not go and use it for this song then post again for us to enjoy it here Hi @chedapapa could you please tell me which tones sound out of a box in your ears ? I didn't mention, but I've recorded this track on Audacity. Maybe it's a mistake, but I know audacity better than reaper, and I knew there would be some EQ stuff. I've been searching for the Stereo Upbeat but couldn't find it on any tutorials. What I find is somethin like "changing mono to stereo without duplicating and paning a track" which is a pretty cool function. Is that what you meant ? Another guy adviced I should double track the rhythm guitars and pan them 100% left / right, and leave the lead on the center. Sounded to me like a good idea, though I have recorded this track in stereo. So I did on Audacity, then export it as a wav file and opened it in Reaper to use the ReaGate. There I added a bit dry and removed a bit wet. Have no idea how this thing works, but it reminded me of some Resonance (wet) / Presence (Dry) settings. So, hoping that's what you were meaning, here's what I got https%3A//soundcloud.com/user-492302877/zombie-metal-stereo-with-reagate-stereo-classique/s-MAeHP

It sounds mashed up a bit. Not sure what you should do as Im not skilled in mixing. When I mix it I go by ear and do much experimenting until happy with the result. The more you record and mix the better you get thats for sure, so keep at it
