Kinda need support. Bought Harley Benton BZ-4000 NT few weeks ago and volume knob started completely mute all volume. Opened back and found two cables touching. Image: ibb.co/hXxN8y (wire 1 was touching part of wire white 2). I separated them and now it kinda works ok. But I think there is a reason for these wires so if you know where to connect those two or not to connect anywhere at all?

From what I see on the picture these two wires are ground wires, they should be making contact with the common ground.

But once I connect them all volume from bass disappears. Maybe this will be a little bit clear: ibb.co/gM1BJyI agree that cable in red circle is ground, but I am not sure that white cable should be connected to it.

Isn't that a split coil pot? Seems like that white one also is a ground bridging the split coil option. Im no expert in this though. Blablas would be Da'Man for this stuff

It has pull out option to switch between passive and active pickups... but what the hell then? Something else must be wrong then if that ground wire connected to white creates short circuit.:/

I haven't changed batteries recently but I am convinced that is not the issue because when cable is connected all volume from both modes (passive and active) disappear.
But it shouldn't be ground I guess, because on the other side of the pod there is a ground wire going straight to the body of the pod and from it it goes to the most top right contact, on the top middle it is red cable that is hot is connected to output jack and then white cable is I guess if for the selection. So it can't be grounded? At very least that is what I imagine how it should be. But question then - is that connected alright as it is or...?
