So here are two amps that popped up in a local website for selling gear. The Bassbreaker 007 costs 300$ and the Palmer FAB5 320$, now I don't really know if those are the good prices compared to their price new, but they do seem interesting. I'm planning on going and trying them, but I have a question, as I'm looking for an affordable tube amp for practice AND for gigging if that's possible. What do you think about those two amps in that regard? Cheers !

Personally I would be more interested in the Palmer, do you have any pedals?
I’m not sure either would be loud enough for a drummer.

Yeah I do have pedals, the songs that I compose have a lot of dreamy guitars. Reverb, chorus, flanger, tremolo and such. But I also have some songs that are straight up Rock, and even some with Octa fuzz effect. So I'd like an amp that's like a jack of all trades master of none ? But also good for just jamming straight up from the amp.

The reason I would be more interested in the Palmer is because it’s truly all tube, pre amp power amp and rectifier which is amazing for the price. It also has attenuation on the back.
I think being able to try them both in the store is really ideal though, you might prefer the bassbreaker. I don’t know if it has an fx loop or anything.

Welp there's a new contender in town, Yamaha JX65D for 320$. I believe that's a bit too much for this amp, but if I lower it I might as well buy it. 2x12 and unlike the others, I've already tested it

Probably loud as balls with a good clean sound.

It's not owned by this fellah is it? He seems to have a Palmer and a Yamaha and lives in Casablanca!

None of these amps have effects loops, and you said you play a lot of dreamy reverby sound (just like me) and for me that's a dealbreaker, I always have 6 different reverbs in the loop.
That said, if it doesn't matter to you, I'd pick the Yamaha simply because who needs tubes with transistors the size of your fist? And also it's an open-back cab, which suits your genre. The Palmer is almost completely closed and is what I'd pick if I were using it for funk, and the Fender is somewhere in-between and what I would use for blues.
