Hi! I want to ask about the differences of these 2 guitars (SC-550 PAF - SC-550 FTF). When I was checked on thomann's site I just found they have different pickups. Don't know why but I made a search and I found with Wilkinson pickups too. Can someone explain me the difference between Roswell - Wilkinson (Roswell HAF - Wilkinson WHHBZ), Roswell-Roswell (LAF - HAF) ? Thanks for your answers.

I owned both guitars and they just fantastic if you like that shape (I'm more of a Strat/Tele guy now).
The Paradise I had was with hot Wilkinson pickups. The guitar sustained for days. The Faded Tobacco was with Roswell LAF and those were the best humbuckers I've played so far (not many though). They almost sounded like P90's clarity wise. If the neck was thicker I would have kept it.
Generally i would say higher output pups in Paradise (Slash style guitar right) and Faded low output pups (more of a blues based tone with nice clarity).

To my understanding, the new Roswell are meant to replace the older Wilkinson and supposed to sound the same as much as possible. This is merely a change of supplier, not of wanted tonal characteristics. I have not compared them nor seen any comparing demo. The Paradise Flame is more aggressive, more "modern" sounding and higher output than the Tobacco Burst. The Roswell LAF (Tobacco) and HAF (Paradise) are as below:

Old Wilkinsons had noticeably higher output, more defined high end, thus sounding brighter and more aggressive. HAFs in comparison are thicker and bit duller.
