I'm really eyeing that gorgeous look of SC-Custom (Vintage Black), but so many people praise the CST-24T and a lot less info about SC-Custom, so what's your take? Should i just go with SC-Custom or is CST-24T that much better to consider?

People over-praise things. These are just guitars, nothing marvellous. At best, they will have less of the flaws that typically come with cheap products, which is a good thing, no more.

Yeah, i understand that, i'm just looking for a guitar for beating up and HB seems like the right brand for that, i'm just asking whether all their guitars are of roughly the same build quality or does it vary from one series to another, or even from one unit to another, so i guess my bad, i should have stated my question differently.

Their models mature with time. This is nothing special nor unexpected, but I have seen people report it so unless something unfortunate happens, like a undesired but necessary change of component or maybe a change of the factory in which a model is produced, a recent build of an older model is likely to be better than the brand new thing.
The SC Custom has been going through changes recently: different pick-ups and an additional coil split function. It might have made it better or not. I didn't like the old Wilkinson pick-ups at all so I would hope for an upgrade. I have seen quite a bit of criticism on recent fanfret models (bad pick-ups, bad screws for bridges, set-up problems). It seems these need to ripen. The quality is not consistent over the product range.
Judging the consistency of build quality requires information which normal buyers lack. I doubt anyone here has seen any significant number of a same model so this might be difficult to answer. I would suspect the quality spread to be widest in the lower price range, but this is just a gamble.

Nothing to do with models. It's more per unit. Either you get a lemon or a keeper for life! It's good to know basic set up and maybe leveling a few or two.

Well, that's unfortunate to hear, but i guess i would be in the same kind of gamble situation if i went for any other brand with a cheap price tag... Ughh, i'll just go with SC Custom and hope it comes undamaged with not much need of any extra setup... Appreciate your reply.

Setting up a guitar ought to be considered a basic skill, just like tuning it. It's easy. I changed the set-up of every single guitar I ever got. Think of it as adjusting the seat and mirrors in your new car.

Thomann did realize that Harley Benton is having a serious following around the Globe and are trying to do better quality check. Now being the time of summer vacations I would not have my hopes up but in all fairness, most people get good enough guitars with only minor issues like 1 fret being too high or, rusty strings, non-polished frets. Usually, the main stuff if top notch! My latest CST-24T P90 Black was great out of the box! I have sent it back only because the neck was too thin for my hands.
