As I said before the guitar is very light and a little bit small of fender models ... the weight is about 3,00 - 3,2 kg.
The JA 60 case in thomann store is the same case for T and ST model.

The JA 60 case in thomann store is the same case for T and ST model. I'm certain it fits well in there but an original Jazzmaster probably won't. Here they are at scale in a softcase that fits a Strat perfectly:

A Fender and a Harley Benton next to one another. You'll have to tell us how you feel the cheap one compares to "the real thing". Don't think I've seen a Strat' with such a front jack before.

A Fender and a Harley Benton next to one another. You'll have to tell us how you feel the cheap one compares to "the real thing". Don't think I've seen a Strat' with such a front jack before. My Strato '83 it's a Dan Smith ( my model it's a Standard of that time that was priced about 500 Euro of today (compared to nowdays you can think about 900 Euro). The neck is slim (good playability), the neck of the JA 60 is just a little thicker than my strato. The Strato with that jack in front was produced maybe for some economic reason in standard model in 1983 (but I am not a Fender experienced).
The sound of them are different because the Ja 60 owns P90 and Fender single coils but ...
SOUND:
Fender pro ( five positions with the nice configuration of sound for 2 and 4 position) JA 60 pro ( Nice P90 sound with enough quality frequencies compared to the Strato - the Strato wins for high-end ) PLAYING SOUND: I love both!
LOOK
The body of JA 60 it'a very nice at look and it's perfect as my old strato.
WEIGHT
The Ja 60 it's sensible more light.
HARDWARE
The hardware of Fender it's better but the problem of the tremolo it's sintomatic for this kind of guitar, the JA 60 share good stability to stay in tune as my Fender but the JA is advantaged for the absence of tremolo.
TOTAL
The JA 60 wins against Fender for price: impossible for the great brands to beat an HB guitar!

I was going to order the JA 60 OW this week but was put off by the blackwood fretboard. I don't to get into a debate with the experts (that have no experience of blackwood). I would like you observations please Roberto, is it noticeably softer, how does it feel/play etc? How does it compare to your other guitars?

RE cases and Jazzmasters. I have a big solidish gigbag with moveable supports inside, can be made to fit a Fender JM, Epiphone Casino or anything else in my collection! I’ll go check the name later.

Yes, it is a noticeably soft: my first impression unboxing and holding the guitar was concerned about the softness of the neck. But when holds it in (this few days of playing) I feel the neck very comfortable: it's like to have a toy in the hands that sounds and looks good IMO. The only problem in my guitar concerning the action: impossible low action ( maybe some frets need livelling ... I don't know).

Aw shucks. I was so looking forward to another blackwood debate I know I'm a pain in the **** 😀 I'm just getting as much info from people who. Have HB's with the aforementioned fretboard type. I can then make an informed decision on weather to take a gamble and by the JA 60 OW. I really like the look and want a guitar with P90's 🎸

Here's a fresh review. The Guitar Geek is just happy with this guitar.
