I have one OD pedal on my board which is s "Dumble style" OD. I use this one to shape my basic drive tone. The CKK Lunar Drive, just packed with dynamic awesomeness!
I use a clean amp as my starting tone and drive with this pedal. But what I'm missing is something to drive the drive, to move from a rhythm drive tone into a more lead drive tone. Am I looking after a Screamer style pedal infront of the Lunar Drive or a Clean Boost pedal infront of it? I never ever tried Boosters so not sure what to expect.
I'm not necessery after Volume boost but drive going into More drive. I'm not into loud Solo/Lead guitar playing where boosted Volume is needed when solo part comes.

I think you want something after the drive imo, “driving” some ODs sounds bad, I lack the technical knowledge to talk about FETs and such like.
My usual setup is Cinders -> Geisha -> Soul bender -> OpAmp Big Muff.
Cinders volume is unity with the clean channel and enough drive for some touch sensitive grit, Geisha is set louder with more drive but not into the distortion levels. Soul bender is at minimum fuzz atm and the OpAmp is velvety Velcro fuzziness

I use clean channel on the amp then my blues drive at about 2 oclock, and use the booster to drive it a bit more but not to point of more dirt/break up. If that makes sense?

I've just checked my pedal settings. My blues drive is not a heavily distorted drive. Its not like the crunch channel on my joyo bantamp or on my modelling amps. It has 3 knobs gain set at 2 o'clock tone at 3 o'clock and level at 3 o'clock. This gives me a bluesy punchy tone (not really dirty or distorted). The booster I have just has a gain knob set at 2 o'clock. This drives it to give a more powerful sound not just a volume increase. Its hard to explain but it does not distort or break up. Its a different sound to using the blues drive on higher setting or full volume on everything. Hope this helps sorry I do not know the technical terms.

The Kokko Booster on AliE is imho a very nice pedal. Introduces no hiss. And you can't beat the price.

DefJef has a Kokko Booster. Still happy with it? Is it a clean boost, does it introduce slight compression and gain when pushed? I would prefer the latter. TC Spark should be such, with slight compression and drive.

Transparent OD (like a Boss BD2 or EHX Soul Food or maybe the TC Electronic Cinders) in front of the Lunar Drive might be the job. Would give you more options than a simple clean boost too. (In theory, those pedals with gain at 0 are effectively clean boosts).
Alternatively an EQ pedal could be the way to go too.

I find the Kokko booster to be transparent, but everyone has other ears. Less than 15 USD is worth a try for sure in my book: s.aliexpress.com/i6bQJVj6What about testing that Emma OD as one of the reviewers mentions that he uses it as a clean boost?

Thanks for the suggestions lads! Keep em coming.
I'm thinking the pedal strip would be good investment as that way I could have options to have tremolo after the reverb and drive after that tremolo when in need of some atmospheric stuff. Strip gives you options to combine pedals in many ways. I still need 2 drives but at least I don't have to buy 2 Tremolos or 2 Reverbs to get those interesting sounds.
Must check the second hand market and see what I find ...

Emma OD sounds very nice but it's HUGE! Would need new pedal board. I must start buying smaller pedals. My Marine Layer Reverb is also too big! Should sell it and buy the Oceans 11 instead.

The reason I'm looking after some new sounds is me working on new songs with my band.
I have placed the Tremolo after the Delay and got some noise. No noise when Trem is infront of the Delay.
Found a video demonstrating Delay>Tremolo>Reverb>OD and the atmosphere was very nice for arpeggios.
I'm still pondering what to buy as I hate having pedals I hardly use. Tremolo is one I use only for arpeggio chord playing so not often.
I have Chorus within the Mooer Twin Recho Delay but not on its own. I have stopped using Chorus for some time now.
I never really used Phaser. Also not sure how much I would use TC Sub'n'Up if I get a keyboard player.
Hm ... but I sure need another Drive to open up the Gain section when needed. I really loved my NUX Drive Core as it had a Bass Boost knob. This one is based on tube screamer. That's why I'm looking at the Valeton Tube Engine which has the same chip original screamer uses. The price and pedal size seems perfect.
