Only going to get one this time. Already had a TE-90FLT SB a couple years ago and sold it to get something else. It was just right for me but in a moment of weakness...well, you know.
I don't play hard stuff. All my guitars are tailored for playing at church these days, but to have a nice lead sound, something in between bluesy and chimey, would be just right. I know HB-35 kinda fits that but I've already got an Epi 339. I'm leaning to the TE-90 FLT since I already know what that sounds like (although I think the one I used to have had Wilkersons). Plus the cheaper price is a plus. What do you guys think?

Personally, I’d go for the XT-22 as I like the look. It has Grovers too unless they changed it without changing the website...

Thanks guys. I'm taking a hard look at the XT-22 as well. Just don't want to have to change pickups this time around to get a decent sound. I think I wouldn't have to on both the TE-90 FLT and the XT-22. Not sure about the HB-35 though.

Only going to get one this time. Why does this sound like a doomed hope? If you want a TE-90 FLT, get one. It won't let you get away. Why consider a HB-35 if it duplicates something? For stereo? Another colour? In case the Epiphone evaporates? If you want some hollow body approximation, there is the TE-90 QM Transthingy. The blue one had humbuckers, the red one has P90s. So you need both. And they're still not an FLT. This is getting out of control. Get the thing you want, not the thing you "need". No one needs a guitar. No one even needs music. We want these things. And trust me, no one but you really cares how your guitar sounds.

Wise words Leo. If I "need" anything, it's probably to sell a few guitars. But yeah, ya nailed me. I want one for no particular reason. In fact if I can't decide which one, I'll prob buy 2. I'm that pitiful!

I'm that pitiful! I did that too. We do it with cheap guitars, some do it with cars, some need another woman, others just another pedal… But it's really just another gratification moment we're after.

Not to drag this out, I pulled the trigger on the TE-90FLT and won't look back. I missed that guitar almost from the very moment I sold it.

You'll be a happy man in a few days. Post pictures I have been looking at the white version for some time but never got the final wish to have it. I never got over the angular simplicity of the thing. I'd rather go for the TE-40 TBK: But only it if had a coil split. Yes, I know, I probably could do it myself for 10€.
