Some reflections about my new TE 90.
The body looks beautiful for me but it's no white, the weight it's comfortable (less than 3,800 - same weght of mine Usa Strato and Ibanez semihollow)
The neck is a little thick but the profile is slim ... with 0.9 strings set - out of box - the playability it's really good and smooth - at least for me - the scale of guitar is the classic Fender type scale 25.5. The keyboard it's a bit dry but in the HB standard .
The hardware seems good: the tuners, the pick-ups, the bridge ... but the screws for height pickups are not completely inserted (you can see that in the pictures) ... and the keyboard does not rest completely on the body (you can see that in pictures).
But apart from these small imperfections the guitar is seems to me awesome and I did start to be in love with her.
In the link detailed pictures of the guitar and same parts of it.

The end of the fingerboard not resting on the body is not an imperfection, it's a design decision. I am not sure why it is done. I suppose it first appeared as a way of adding a 22nd fret to Strat's or Telecasters without changing the dimensions of the neck and its pocket in the body but then it spread to new models and other brands. Several of my guitars have this and some are original models. In the case of my Ibanez S, the end of the fingerboard extends over the neck and rests on the frame of the neck pick-up.
Strange situation with the pick-up screws. Hopefully they can still be raised to taste.

But I am ignorant in guitar models and bulding guitars, my interest started when I started buying guitars from Thomann ... For the screws no problem .... I knew these issues before buying TE 90 after the reading of youtube comments.

The pickup screws are a known problem. DefJef Who had the lowdown on that? I don't remember who had that problem (if he was a YouTube guest, or maybe a HBCF guest) but I remember that he said that was impossible with that screws to adjust the pickups heights. I remember that he said that he has repaired the pickups with others little screw. As soon as possible I will spent time to see if it's true for mine TE 90. But I think this it's not a problem it's simple to arrange... the TE 90 FLT seems really good in all aspect, looks, playability, sound and volume and tone (are really good, they work fine and well) and currently I think: She is the best HB in my house.
About a fingerboard ending, I looked before at the fingerboard of my HB KIT T and the fingerboard not resting in the body ... so some T models wear this fingerboard.

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Great to hear she's satisfying and the pictures really capture it. I've got that same guitar on the way to Canada. Had it before in sunburst, so will be glad to get it back.

Playing the TE 90 I'm testing a new sound experience that is given by the LFT pickups. The pickup sounds in a special way: you can feel and hear both the best features of single coil and humbucker. It's extremely pleasant for the guitar player (at least for me)- for example- to feel the amp give back the high top end frequencies and the brightness of a single coil without the muddiness the is the weak point of an humbucker. The FLT ( Fi Lter Tronic) are the Roswell answer to Gretsch, TV Jones etc.etc. and they sound very good. Here some information about FILTERTRONIC from Reverb A guide to Filtertron pickups
