I just noticed 2 new Fusion models in green and black. Much nicer than the quilted stuff! They even got rid of the retainer bar and placed a single roller string tree instead!

If they would offer them with a bit thicker necks I would be happy.
At least have the option to choose between models with different neck profiles.

Thomann have been unbelievably quick to respond to criticism of the retainer bars on these models. And the solid color tops paired with matching headstocks look much nicer than the flamed or curly-wurly versions in my view. What about those beaky headstock profiles though? Any love for these? A candidate for Macmullification?

These beaky headstocks are appearing on budget guitars everywhere these days. I do not like them. Corrective surgery would be a must. If the beaks were more curved or elongated then they could at least double as wall-hangers, but no they do nothing except looking like umbrella handles. I like the Macmull profiles.

I cannot help but think of a Mary Poppins signature model.

I really like the HB headstock. I don't want them to change it. The Macmull headstock is designed to be a simple cut down job from the 2nd hand Squier they recycle. They relic' them a bit and sell them for 10 to 15 time the price to the gullible. At that price, they know no one will scratch the finish to see if there was a string tree a little further down.

LeoThunder I disagree with what you say. There are videos of the Macmull workshop on youtube where we can see their guitars being made. They are expensive. The price of them is Macmull's choice. We have a choice too of course

I usually like green as a colour, but the HB Fusion green looks very much like the Morris Marina green!

I like all these "funny" headstocks. I also like the G&L one. The one headstock I dislike is the square Gibson, strongly at odds with the rounded body of a Les Paul. I prefer the Epiphone version by far.
