From my minute data set I massively prefer DiMarzio to SD.

Truth be told; I just LOVE how Strat feels in my hands Its just made for me. The only issue I ever had with it is the absence of Neck + Bridge switch option and 6 point tremolo. This one has a 2 point which I prefer (and reviews say it great) and the neck + bridge can easily be modded excluding the M+B and M+N which I never really use. Im more of a Bridge on its own, or Bridge and Neck both in parallel for more mellow chords and in series for a more punchy big sound especially for note for note riffs/solos. Well, I do like just Neck on P90's

The package is sitting in Germany on the border with Denmark for 2 days and is not moving. Not sure why? This never happened before. Of course will I review this guitar here as soon I receive it.

It arrived! by the look of this Styrofoam this box fell a few times r was pressed into something very much so! bag ripped all the way Styrofoam shattered into pieces on the side too. This guitar fell Im sure or was crushed into something! This is the reason I will return this guitar! There is almost 2mm inbetween the neck and body (you can see the two shiny screws and the binding on the other side)! Im sure this guitar dropped a few times and was treated like shoit! I tried to untighten and then tighten the screws back in but to no avail. Either the screw holes are not deep enough or this guitar got some deformation during the falls or when being squashed into stuff! No blemishes on the lacquer though. and the last thing! capture softwareI looked into the trem block and could see only 2 springs, then I found the 3rd it was there inside the guitar bag!!! Just being there loose! Thankfully it did not scratch the guitar (or maybe it did as I didn't look much at the back of the guitar) This one going back BIG EFFING TIME! That neck-body joint is a BIG No No for me! The pups work. I don't think the tuners can lock even when tightened! So much about locking tuners!

The Ebony fretboard is dry. Would need oiling. The frets seem fine overall. The bridge also seems fine except that 3 spring being in the guitar bag. The flame is not as strong which I prefer. The neck is modern C and feels satin and very comfy, which I hoped for. The nut was cut in a funky way, sloped from low E to high e! Don't like that! The guitar is not heavy but not light either, ok for me, so guessing around 3,5 or 3,6 kg.

Took out 2 screw from the neck-body joint and looked closely ... indeed! They ARE bent! This guitar most certainly fell on the neck part which deformed the screws! Off to write to Thomann! Fabulous NON-Quality Control! Well done Thomann!

Okay so first impression is not good but can something be done with those neck screws? Maybe ask for replacements? Would need to detach the neck whole to have a better idea of what has happened. Maybe ask for some replacement tuners too.
