Hard for me to believe it but I actually love this Dirt channel A LOT. At first I thoguht this to be some Mean Metal Machine but this Gain has all from nice crunch to full on hi-gain (apparently some folks think it hasn't got enough hi-gain! WHAT!!! This is way too much for my needs but until about 5 there is all sorts of goodness in this box) @defjef I owe you another appology! I told you that this G20 is probably not for you but it just might be the right amp for you as it can do lovely clean on one channel and fantastic array of dirt on the other (+ there is a led indicating if the Dirt channel is on). Mind you I really dislike the dirt channel on V55. This G20 is something else. Sure there still is sligh tube fuzziness to it but far more focused that the chnky V55! Very happy with the tone so far. Over all the tone is more tight, more "urgent" than the one on V55. The G20 is not in your face , not at all, it still has all those lovely tubey warmness and sag but does inspire different riffs, feels that I would not get on the V55. Exactly what I needed! Will get a cabinet for it! Not sure if Im to go with the Bugera 112 Turbosound or Harley Benton Vintage Celestion V30 ? HELP!!!

I thought it looked useful and with very different connections on the back. How does the EQ section work with the clean channel?
Looks as though it may be a bit smaller than the V22 head.
Not quite a lovable to look at but not too metal looking. Just mean, like a stealth machine. Do the knobs feel plasticky or metal?

Clean channel has ONLY that TONE knob but it has a very good range, good sweep. Overall the sweep is useful I find, so for me very transparent channel hat goes from Jazz dark to Bright Presence. I like it at about noon or less.
The Morph + 3-band EQ is for the Dirt Channel. Drive Channel can give the same slight breakup as my CKK Lunar Drive (or similar). I sure can roll the volume on my guitar to clean it out and the open it up for full on growl!
I like the looks. Very Marshally. All looks top notch on this amp, very expensive looking. All details on this amp are just perfect. Love Bugera for this! The knobs are plastic I think, certainly some hard solid plastic that does not feel plasticky.
I will have more time to check this babe tonight when me boy is gone to bed (he has got Chicken Pox so we have had a few sleepless nights so far).

I think my Bugera may have chicken pox. Now Thomann say they can't open the video that I sent to them via Dropbox, wetransfer and email. It's an mp4. What's the problem now?!

Exactly what I needed! Will get a cabinet for it! Not sure if Im to go with the Bugera 112 Turbosound or Harley Benton Vintage Celestion V30 ? HELP!!! Stay away from cheap speaker: I don't know the sound of this Turbosound speaker but IMO the final stage of the guitar tone, that's a cab, it's better to be good and well-sounded ... you know what I mean ... you can loose the tone that is just in the chain ... it could be frustrating. The HB G 112 Vintage is with made in china Celestion G12 inside - this kind of speaker is historically correct for a creation of that classic vintage sound that you can heard in classic recordings. Only for the speaker you need to pay this amount: Celestion G12 Vintage 8 hom 60 wThis speaker is the SAME speaker that you will find in the HB 112 G ( I own HB 112 G Vintage and it's very good ... I'm very happy with it) Hoping this information will help you.

You did a video, they can find a way to open it. You want to return the amp (unless you are trying to get more discount). Simple. Do NOT compplicate things with Thomann too much. I usually ask them to send me a video camera if they want me to make a video as I have no modern day phone or cameras. The answer is usually "forget about the video, here is your return label". It should be enough for them to get your explanation, then they can check it once they receive it. Just make them know that this amp was needed for a gig and now it destryed your entire rock career asyou were unable to perform You want to replace this one for the G20 instead and you want it pronto! You are an Artist god damn it and not a sales man or postman or technician of sorts! You also hope that all those stories about their fenomenal customer care are true and they will sort this stressful situation for you asap!

V30 can sound NASAL and that is not something I like I think I would rather go with the more modern sounding Blue Turbosound especially because its already voiced for Bugera amps. The only thing I dont like is the closed back on Buegra Cab. Dislike the boxy sound of closeback cabs!

I might accept new tubes AND a discount! By the way, I was listening to Radiohead's Iron Lung in the car today. There were some great examples of that big distorted chord low in the mix that I was going on about. Radiohead just put a smile on my face. I was playing Nice Dream and loving all the intricate little parts that pop up between or even during verses. They are like those little bits that I like to do; new little tunes that come and go within the song. Detractors could call them unnecessary, but I say all songs are unnecessary, but if you're going to listen to one it might as well be interesting!

The only thing I dont like is the closed back on Buegra Cab. Dislike the boxy sound of closeback cabs! Make a removable or hinged panel and get the best of both worlds. A cab for each occasion.

For my personal taste the Celestion V30 don't sounds nasal. I have tested the HB cab in these days with my amps and preamps and with the good ones with a full EQ stack it sounds as I thought. I've tested a Bugera combo (but i don't remember the model) in the shop of a friend of mine (he closed the shop some time ago ... sic) and i was surprised about it: Good price and good sound ... so I don't know ... It's a question of personal taste.

I never had a cabinet in my life, let alone with V30 in it. Yes, my conclusion is based on you tube vids
