Interesting that you say "don't like its aesthetic". Was it the burnt sausage look or the slightly non-tele top horn?
The aesthetic is the the one thing that is difficult to put out of your mind. I know. I've had guitars that just don't gel with me every time I look at them, some are meh and some just fill me with joy. Those latter ones I'll do anything to make work. The rest? Pffft...
The color of the handle was jaundice yellow and even opaque, probably with time it would hold back the sweat.
The upper part showed a more masonry effect than a guitar top.
The back side of the body in a solid black color even made it possible to understand that it was made up of four glued parts, much lower than a harley benton te-20 which is also sunburst both forward and back.
The hardware is more or less similar in both guitars, so the same defect near jack plate.
