I found this Fender Stratocaster for sale online. The owner admits that not everything is original to the guitar and is looking for a best offer. I am temped but how much is it worth do you think?

Depends on what is original. Clearly the sawn off trem isn't but you'd need to know more than that. Is it just the cheapest Squier with a Fender logo? What are the pickups etc. Maybe it's a Custom Shop DG relic but the tuners have been changed! Who knows? Maybe it's not even got the faintest whiff of a whiff of a Fender about it.
Don't forget there's very little of the guitar that it is based on that is original either.

Thanks guys. It is supposed to be a late 60s model with just the body being original. But yes, as @defjef suggests, caution must be employed. Might be one of those fake relics that we see everywhere. I know about the ebay sold items index but I just don't know what to offer for this. For not a lot of money I could get a similar new guitar from Thomann with warranty!

Sounds very like the real Black Strat to me. Just a late 60s body and the rest added later. I wouldn't pay over the odds for that.
Seems somebody has added the 7-way switch and even hacked out the Kahler trem void and filled it with mush again. People are weird!

You may end up in a bidding war with Mr G. He's going to need another soon and, it seems, he's none too bothered about what he has. That's a point. There are several spare necks for that Black Strat of his. Are the necks up for auction too? And which one is on the one that's for sale anyway? Has he kept the best for himself?

It is time to confess. The guitar I shown is the real Black Strat. Or at least it is one of them. David has has several. No idea about the discarded necks but I hear he does enjoy a barbecue with the family in the summertime. He will have kept the best gear for himself of course. I would. And should Mr G be reading this I am serious about my offer

There is only one genuine Van Gogh here. It is the one shown at the bottom with the Naturalbeachliving.com stamp. Staying with the theme. What about this one below. It is claimed to be from Rothko's dark period. Untitled but sometimes referred to as The Black. A deceptively simple piece and one that many might walk straight past in a gallery but when we stop and stare at it for ten minutes or more the magic can happen. I suggest you do this, @defjef

Thanks Vincent . I decided to apply the latest x-ray technology to the Rothko painting and it turns out the art world has misunderstood it all these years. It was actually just a canvas that he had prepared with a ground wash of black to be ready to start on his next piece, 'Oh Death'. Ironically he died before he had time to do any more work on it. What the x-ray has revealed is that Rothko had reused an earlier canvas and beneath this thick layer of black was the following image:
