First quick impressions: I really like the guitar, but, as we know, there is no perfect instrument. In this price range, then the differences are still minimal. I haven't tried it well yet (the neighbors are all at home) but I have to say that it is not bad at all and I would say how I expected it. For now what I don't like: I think it is a typical way of acting of the Japanese (they have always acted in this way, cars, consumer electronics etc.) I have the feeling that they add or modify something after the project, in my opinion losing what we Europeans (mainly Italians) we call harmony. Returning to the topic, in the face of an impeccable finishing I find some things that I don't like, luckily almost all of them are solvable. The single coil covers are satin-finished the selector cap is black polished. The humbucker cover is nickel for me it would have been more beautiful black. The poles of the single coil are burnished those of the nickel humbucker (a single color is not it?) The banding is perfect but I would have preferred a vintage color and not a snow white. I would have preferred the neck to match the back of the body, but you can't have everything in life. Would I buy it again? At the price paid or at Thomann's yes, at the average market price I don't know, at what is approaching or exceeds 400 euros I would say no. To be continued

Beautiful, transparent finish on the back. Mine is black. Nice, dark burst with matching headstock. That's the one thing I dislike about the standard S series, they have black headstocks but the SA is matching.
Control knobs are strange, though. There are no string trees on mine. Is the headstock no longer angled? The bridge has changed too. And the jack output is black, fitting with the burst.
I did some research and found out mine sold for 400€ in 2006 already.
