Sx vtl 50 change neck pickup with fender japan 1994 now sx play almost like an American tele standard, maybe even better, but I think I will have to change the bridge pickup too (which before was sufficient now is a bit undersized) Initially I will try with rosewell, after seeing what to do to balance the quality

Now i have this choice
1) change bridge pickup with Fender 50's p. n. 0055216000 or Tonerider Trt1 or wilikinson vintage voice
2) left sx bridge pickup or test with rosewell from Hb - te52

If it was me, having not less than four Teles, I would convert one in an Esquire à la Steve Cropper, so it would be the Sand one first, or the Red one otherwise...

While toneraider like but more trt2 of trt1

Upgrade roswell no is too bad (tone) but output is low for neck pickup, so i believe that must be changed with an hot pickup problem now ceramic or alnico ?
I presume first because fender japan is ceramic (i believe)

Anyone know Wilkinson MWTB ceramic ? If the tone is good should be well.

Outstanding ceramic pickups for a killer price. Do not under estimate these ceramic pickups. I have had '52 Alnico re-issue Fender pickups, Hand wound USA pickups, and these are every bit as good. I am about to order another set as backups, and for the price, they make a Telecaster sing. Most impressed. The neck pickup is a goodie too so check out the pair. Can not give any less than 5 stars for these pickups, and if ceramic are good enough enough for Jeff Beck, they are good enough for me. You will not be disappointed.

New pickup it was mounted not badly done if it had a little more output it would be perfect with the companion on the handle. I suppose the wiring is correct, the neck pickup not being for the telecaster I have inverted the cables soldering the positive to the gnd and the negative to the potentiometer
