Great article DerAlex. I'll be interested to see where mine have ended up using my ear for the tone I want on my Thinline Tele. I was aware of the much lower magnetic pull which, combined with the resistance to string pull at the bridge, means less likelihood of creating false nodes there, so I've never worried too much about that. I may find I'm somewhere within those measurements the article gives. I'll do a little measure tonight.
