First impression like colour but should know how I am certainly a distant olive green and then what is the point of making it even black. Excellent neck freats and finish. Good wiring, electronic hardware: switch cheap, pot good in my case one knob vol good tone knob fault. Sound more hibryd and for me best when dry is pull out. Would you buy it at a full retail price of around 600 euro? Absolutly no. I believe that yamaha could focus more on the sound than on the marketing, for this model I would have definitely eliminated the dry in favor of a classic tone control the stop tailpiece in favor of wraparound and definitely better p90 maybe even sacrificing the gigbag and the manual where there is absolute nothing (see bridge) of this guitar. Obviously for me at least Zen is not enough and my first yamaha but it will remain the last. Fortunately, I like the color (even if different) and the aesthetic, and for this reason I pay the price paid. P. S tuners is very good while clean is only good

What colour is the back? It looks black. Maybe green? I thought these had a mahogany back.

Colour change sun light is dark mogany back green front lamp light all is more dark but never as show on web for ex thomann I don't like gloss front finish on this guitar Backlight (solar) you see streaks like on the 80 euro hb. Honestly, I do not understand the choice of using yamaha so little colors for a guitar. The ibanezs for example are much more pleasing to the eye regardless of which color you prefer. On my also one knob is fault, this no have The upper part of the hat is completely flat but has an unwanted bevel, I would rather say that it has escaped to the control during the grinding phase. It also has the housing vessel not perfectly cylindrical so that the potentiometer shaft looks crooked, momentarily I used a common fender knob. Given the presentation, as described on the official website, etc. I would have expected everything on a higher level, but it is not. I honestly find Ibanez Sa260, Epiphone les paul std more personal and prs se 24std better both as sound and as total finishing. On the other hand, yamaha has an excellent handle and good tuners, but cheap electronics and frigid pickups to be p90s. As I said before I confirm that it would have done better to eliminate gigbag, tailpiece, and everything spent to advertise a guitar from new forms with comparisons to mimimali motion, and to devote more to a sound with p90 personality in my case. Do not even the dark and sad colors chosen convince me to cover a wood that is not of the highest quality? I'm not sure but this is the first impression, but applauding goes to the perfect fretts and the very high-performance keyboard, but it's not enough to get out of the chorus and count among the big names at least among electric guitars. On andertons chapman choice rs320 between all revstar and probably can give reason. Personally my choice is rs620 in this comparations. Upgrade On the marshall the revstar seems to bring out those characteristics that seemed to be missing on the first day with blackstar. This p90 I'm not so bad, at least on the clean. All this difference i don't know if is good or bad for a guitar. This is the first time that i notice this. However tone pot and switch are to change default is 250k while in my house have only 500k I also like the sound

Interesting to see. Now to do that bonding with it. Find it's strengths. It often takes me a little while to find the go-to settings between amp/s and new guitars. Getting to know when THIS is the guitar to turn to.

I fully agree, probably a cause of the small problems resulting from the tone pot abd his knob and the 3 way switch in my opinion identical to that of the economic pacifica I hate plastic moreover. And it is true that on a 600/650 euro guitar you can't expect a cts, but at least an ibanez type hardware. The contrast then lies in the gibson style pickup cables and the rest is a common thread you expect in this price range. The operating manual, which does not belong to this guitar since the tail piece is not mentioned. And the difficulty of choosing the color, completely different from how it is advertised. Luckily all the rest is so much to reconsider the comparison with epi and ibanez instead remains still far in his favor prs Play louder P. S Do not forget the difficulty in finding accessories for rigid houses or parts like pickguard and switch knobs without using sltfe forms Don't like adesive logo I don't understand who tell that guitar is heavy i found 3,5kg Neck is 7cm on 2 freet and 8,3cm at 12 for comparation Ibanez ga260 Neck is 6,5cm on 2 freet and 7,6cm at 12 Prs se 24 std Neck is 7cm on 2 freet and 7,6cm at 12 For this reason i believe that profile is Almost thin rather than medium while on the web read like gibson 59 but isn't truse.

Those P90s seem to be set very high. Higher than I would set them, especially the bridge.
Are you saying that headstock logo is a stuck on 3D badge? No, I don't like that idea either. Reminds me of Stagg guitars.
Shame the tone knob was missing. I love the originals. Is the tone knob the push pull dry switch? Like you, I'd need to change that from the strat style ones. I just can't pull those up easily.

By the way ttmax, if you like the brushed aluminium knobs and want a new tone one, I know the parts can be difficult to source for some reason. I think I may know someone who has some in the UK. Let me know if you're interested and I'll see if they will export.

The original substitution of the tone is I, but it is defective and / or something is missing inside it, a difference in volume that is interlocking this is screwed, but then it does not remain perfectly in axis I found the p90s set this way from guitar shop i no idea wich is ideal distance for p90 and yamaha non have any guide Thank you very much but first I want to see if I were an original according to the one originally defective from the factory and the guitar was made in December 2018 I have the document should be under warranty, don't you think? About p90 high In your opinion, how high they should be from E1 / E6? About the logo I would have preferred to be screen-printed even the cheap hb have it so I don't like the mofo to do yamaha E6 string is actually 1,6/1,7mm i believe that is correct don't loock p90 plastic cover high because body no is curver

Hmm, I guess the warranty ought to be transferable to the new owner. What does the paperwork say?
As far as pickup height goes I always go by ear, not measurements. It could be that the height you have is right to your ears. I just know that I've never found that sort of closeness to strings to sound right to mine.

I like the original most but failing that it would have to be the Tele knob for me. Shure, but genuine i suppose that only yamaha have those. Tele style i don't like for this shape and my opinion is that are only for tele. I changed also on ibanez this knobs type. Probably if don't found yamaha left a cream knob and change also knob switch not easy to found cream.

Of course it's your aesthetic, not mine. If it functions well and it looks good to you it's right.
