So, as I mentioned in another thread, I have family coming down from Germany soon, so I am thinking of making the most of the "Free Shipping In Germany".
First I was just thinking of getting the MB-4, but of course, once you start looking...
So, these are the basses that I am contemplating between:
Harley Benton PB-20 BK Standard Series
I don't have a fulls scale P-Bass, although I do have a Shorty P, and a full scale PJ, both of which have flats. I would refin' this bass and string it with rounds, giving me a tonal option that I don't have at present. Also, everyone needs a P

Harley Benton PB-50 SB Vintage Series
A classic that is always on my GAS list, but always gets overtaken by other models. I don't have a Maple 'board, and as I said above, I don't have a full scale P Bass. This would probably get a refin' in white/cream (unless the wood grain was good enough underneath to leave it natural).

Harley Benton MB-4 SB Deluxe Series
This was the first one I thought of when thinking about ordering. My plan would be to refin' in Candy Apple Red with matching headstock. I am not sure that the tones that this bass offers me would be of much use to me, but depending on the space and location, I could think of adding a P p'up.

Dean Guitars Evo XM Bass Mahogany
Ok, so it's not a Harley Benton, but... this one was on my GAS list before for a short scale project I am interested in doing. I would have the body reshaped, p'ups changed, electronics upgraded and refin'. It would probably be "under construction" for a long time, but the sooner I start...

Harley Benton HB-60 VW
This is just beautiful! This has also been on my GAS list for a very long time! The only thing I would do to this bass is to sand off the back of the neck (I don't like painted necks). I don't know when or where I would use this bass tone wise, but I would be happy just to look at it

Ibanez GSRM20BGB-WNF
I think that this is the perfect travel bass! It would give me the P bass with rounds option I am missing, also a PJ rounds option. It would give me another short scale option (I really like short scales), and it is small enough to contemplate travelling with! It would get p'ups upgraded, preamp added, refinished and basically rebuilt! This would quite possibly become the bass that I most played, as it is so easy to take it with me (28.8" scale).

Anyways, I have 4 weeks to decide and order so I can get it in time, so I have plenty of time to make up my mind, but what do you guys like?
