I have a right handed version of this 8 string Harley Benton...and I cannot get it to respond at all to a good neck adjustment or a fret leveling....th neck does not crank far enough to th other side to where it creates slack and bows...I cranked it all th way to where it doesn't want to turn anymore.and th darn strings are still buzzing and deadened out 9n th 1rst fret.ice leveled them to no avail.ive tried raiding th nut and all that died itls create rediculous action that us way too high...I want to smash this guitar 8bto to y bits and pieces because I cannot help but get th feeling that it is compete garbage.im very very frusterated and very very upset and just about to smash it.becsuse if u can't get lie action then I don't want th thing in my house or akicd as a guitar .firewood is all it's good for right now and I've turned many guitars into left-handed guitars and never had a problem...this darn guitar is crap and fmfies not respond to neck adjustments.nut adjustment or anything at all.th bridge doesn't respond well either...I cannot get a decent balance between the 3 major causes of these problems to save me it it's life...I'm at th end if my rope and completely want to die because of it bdcsusd I cannot afford an expensive worthy guitar.in a professional guutsrist..been playing for 26 years an cannot afford anything that is more my need for playing..all I have is these cheap pieces of **** and I'm sick to death of these things not acting like a good guitar.what is the issue with this crappy waste of wood? is the action supposed to be unreal high and that's just how it is?

...And breathe... Can we go back to which order you did things in? Out of the box was there a buzzing issue? Have you sighted down the neck to be sure there is no twist in it? All good? If not then it goes back to Thomann. What sort of relief has the neck got now around the 7th fret when you place a straight edge along the strings or hold a string at the first AND 17th fret at the same time? What sort of clearance is there over the first fret when you hold each string at the third? Have you tried a fret rocker or even a credit card to find any high frets, particularly the 10th? If those things are all hunk dory then you know the neck is not an issue - assuming nut slots are all nice since you swapped it to a left hander. So now you can address the bridge end. Is there plenty of height and intonation adjustment there? Or does the neck need a shim?
