That just shows ya . .. I have spent mucho dinero on US made Fenders, Gibsons and PRS ... but today I am ass-over-teakettle happy with my latest purchase , a Harley Benton TE 52 NA !

I have to wonder, if something was defective with your in that it sounded "harsh" ... As my own impression is, one of the outstanding things about this micro-priced puppy, is that the "Roswell" pickups sound just fine !

Several You Tube videos demonstrate good tone , and one, "Up From the Blues" (?) Australian dude, wrong handed

does a comparo with a American Fender Original Gangsta Tele ($2150 US) and the TE 52 more than holds its own ...

Check it out ...

Now the TE 52 is heavy, but so are Squire Tele made of Ash , running between 8 to 9 and a half pounds !

But I'll rave more about my new cheapie sweeties later... 8-)
