I shared in the thread going on shipping. But since that is a shipping thread I thought to start new thread. Of course my guitar box had gotten wet allowing box to give out and the guitar had been dropped. There was a hole in box covered with masking tape. The headstock was even sticking out of internal box. What i found was the last tuner had bent and sheared off the staking screw and lying next to the next tuner along with some discolored water spots on the headstock from the water damage. So I have emailed and message Thomaan but havent heard anything back yet. I ended up taking advise from some of you on how fix it. I used a 3/16 stainless steel straw. I dreamed the teeth in the tube and after a practice run, I was successful getting the screw out. I then measured and cut a piece of Dow rod to plug the hole I used tite bond wood glue and clamper it for 45 minutes. I then cleaned up excess glue. It seems to be decent job. QUESTION.... Should I leave it clamped overnight or is it fine after being clamped for 15 min earworm or last should I wait till tomorrow evening to do anything with it. Thank you

Do you neccesarily leave it clamped too or once it's in the hole it's good set and cure without anything holding pressure?
