reverb.com/shop/martins-gear-garage-47My prices are absolutely up for negotiation, I don't expect to receive that amount for either item tbh. And I kind of doubt anyone here would actually want either item

That was quick, did you get the asking price?

No, but I didn't expect to, I was hoping for at least £80, I got £80 so I'm happy, I have a feeling if I'd offered it up at £80 I'd have got £60 or less.
Am expecting around £40 for the OC-3.

It seems like you loose a lot when selling the top end pedals. I know what you mean with regards to £20 lower than asking price. I watch some auctions on ebay some pedals go for more than expected yet in another auction the same pedal doesn't sell at a lower price. I invariably miss the opportunity to get something on the cheap due to forgetting to check the items I'm watching. 🙄
Are you going to buy more budget pedals with the money from the sale of those 2 pedals?

blindwilly3fingers At the moment I am trying to decide between getting a duckboard and asking the Shed members for help adapting it or getting a proper metal job. I am also sorely tempted to get some solid body P90 equipped guitar.

I was also toying with the idea of getting some lessons, but I don't know if it's too late for me to really learn anything from them.

I did lessons for over a year when I got back into guitar. At first it was great but my teacher only wanted to do beatles songs. Tbh I'm not a lover of the beatles, what finished it off for me was I told him no more beatles stuff I want to learn more blues and other stuff. He said how about Roxy Music? I said fine he said jealous guy, I said bye bye. Not being funny but you don't learn anything if your not interested in it.
The lessons are fine if you get a teacher who teaches you what you would like not their personal favourites. OK you have to do the technical/method music bits but that should be tailored to the type of music you want to play.
Some people who teach seem to forget or ignore the pupil and steam on doing what suits them. A good teacher will find ways to keep you motivated, interested and above all enjoying the learning.
If you can find a good teacher lessons can be very useful.

Maybe once all this Corono stuff has died back I will get some lessons, it would probably be more beneficial to my playing than yet another guitar or more pedals. There is quite a large selection of teachers in my area last time I checked.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to just learn songs, that seems pointless, I can just teach myself via Tab/chord sheets. It's a little catch 22 in that I don't know what I need to learn, if you see what I mean?

I decided to try a tutor out online next Monday, seems like a decent chap, £25/hr 2 lessons a month, I can handle that.
