Well done DefJef I couldn't find any demos at all ๐ค I presumed the voice was similar to the AC, American and British sound pedals. Its supposedly an amp in box pedal. I thought they would have gone the whole hog and had low, mids and high instead of just a tone control. That demmo was a bit in your face but at least you hear a little of what it can sound like.

Yeah that's a nice selection of amps! And recording equipment. Sounded very good but is that not just an overdive pedal through different amps? Or have I missed something? I thought these pedals were amp simulators? The amp in the box, meaning they give a clean amp the voice/sound close to whatever they are simulating? I love the American sound and AC Tone they do give you a ball park sound of what you they are pretending to be. ๐ค I've not had enough time with the British sound yet but it does sound close to Marshall sounds I think. ๐ฏ Regarding they Taichi, as said previously its a clone of a clone. Does it do Dumble? I don't know? I thought all the Dumbles supposedly sounded slightly different? The Taichi is definitely different tonally from my ever expanding selection of OD/Distortion pedals. So for ยฃ19 it's some cheap fun and a different flavour. ๐ฆ ๐ Now if you can find a pedal that will make me sound like Carlos Santanaยฎ๏ธ DefJef I'll take out a mortgage on the house and shower you with gifts. ๐คญ Until then I shall keep buying cheap knock of pedals and the odd name brand pedal. I've got the sickness officially now, I call it collecting but the Mrs claims to have medical knowledge that I am in fact a hoarder! ๐ฅบ

GAS never stops.
Supposedly all the Dumbles were customised for their owners and gooped, but there's so much myth and bs surrounding them I don't know what to believe tbh.

DefJef you just want me to have the full set of the love/joyo/caline/horse etc etc amp in a box pedals ๐๐๐ I am tempted to get the messa voiced one but I do find I like the AC Tone best all said being closely followed by the American sound. Horse do the Joyo tauren clone I nearly pulled the trigger but gave myself a good talking to. How many klon clones do I really need ๐๐๐๐

I'm so weak lol. OK DefJef I've ordered the horse california sound ๐ฎ I had tauren in and out of the shopping basket half a dozen times but finally resisted ๐ซ โ ๏ธ I did however drop the horse UZI distortion drive in there the bias knob swung it. ๐ค

Apparently the the horse pedals use joyo/caline boards, that's what I read doing a little research. I couldn't find any really bad reviews of their mini pedals. As you know DefJef a lot of these Chinese pedals are just rebranded. These larger horse pedals 108mmx70mm (roughly 4"x3") without the battery compartment would be comparable nearly size wise to the joyos. I watched a jhs yt video with the guy from 60 cycle hum. It was the 60 cycle aforda board (cheap Chinese pedals). Josh was impressed by most stuff he had on there. I've seen Josh heap praise on the Joyo and caline stuff before. So cheap try outs are fine with me ๐ MartinB how long ago did I say no more chasing tone/OD pedals? You were right I have no will power ๐๐๐๐

DefJef regarding the power/battery supply. I'm the use a power brick and forget it type. Although I do have a couple of those leads mainly for trying battery sag for fuzz or OD ๐ค

I like the JHS videos, despite being a boutique brand heโs very reasonable about budget pedals, I got a couple of Behringer pedals based off of one of his vids.
