Hi All,
Has anyone heard if we are going to see any new releases this year. I would love to see some new colour options for the CST-24s and the EX84's. (having seen one painted in a solid pale blue) i would be cool for a few other colours. I am anticipating the Agufish new signature at some point this year.
What are your thoughts on what you would like to see Thomann do with the Harley Benton range this year?

I have been barking for some upgraded "short scale" (24" scale length, Jaguar/ Mustang) offerings. More specifically an MS 60 upgrade with Roasted maple neck / fretboard 24" scale or Maple /Amaranth (that seems to be a cool fretboard material) Rolled fretboard edges/ well finished fret ends (like on my TE 90 QM) Locking tuners Tusq nut SS Frets P90 pickups and H / H version Hardtail Bridge (Wilkinson ?) or like on the Fusion models Basswood or Alder body (or Mahogany) I'd buy a couple

Honestly, I'd like to see them:
V Design Neck Through like the Amarok Floyd Rose 1000 from the SC Models EMG 81-60 (B-N) Pickups The Gotoh Style Locking Tuners Strap Locks.
It would also be Sick as their uhhh... what is it - EX style guitars as well.

I have recently asked, since I already have an MS60 and I'm thinking of getting another guitar that I need so badly (right, no?) but unfortunately the answer was that they have nothing planned. I asked specifically about "Mustang or Jag style guitars" mentioning they have just released a very nice short scale bass model.
So... I'm targeting either a contemporary Jaguar or a Yamaha Revstar (truth is we have plenty of Squier models). Maybe Squier releases new models/colors this year... wouldn't mind a red or sunburst Mustang.
Also the XT-22 was discontinued to never be seen again...
I guess they are focusing on the models that sell really well (F and G copies, maybe with the exception of the Jazz).

Too much work, for us "non-luthiers", and I don't know a Tech I'd trust to route for pickups, and get rid of the Mustang bridge to go Hardtail Probably easier to do ... What I did ! That is to buy a Used Fender Player Mustang 90 ... All the stuff, and a not so crazy Fender price... But I know HB could do it all for less than $200 US

I’m no woodworker. Took me about half an hour to route it out? Fixing the bridge is also simple. Buying custom wound pickups from The Creamery in Manchester…. Ah yeah, that’s the secret sauce…. *edit* www.creamery-pickups.co.uk/

Thats why I was hoping for new models offset/short scale models. But the Mustang 90 seems like a great option.
I don't want to go off-topic, but the MS60 trem, if you tighten the screws, behaves like a hard tail.

I see there's a new SC-450Plus GT Vintage Series at $160 USD. Appears to be an upgrade of the SC-400 SGT Classic Series at $133 USD. So for $27 more the 450 is basically different woods...mahogonay body, maple top, oakum neck and laurel fret board. 450 also has push/pull coil split. Anyone have this guitar yet..?

Proper radius too. I wonder will the colour be closer to gold on this one? I am tempted! Hmmm, that's the lefty, no pics of RH one.

Just hope they come out with 7 string and baritone models of the fusions. They'd need to change the neck profile for a 7 but they should do it.

I've asked about an ES-335 type guitar with P90s. It was acknowledged by their staff. Would like to see that priced high enough ($250-350 US) to be of nice quality. I'll bet they'd knock it out of the park.
