Hi, I have a new HB-35 plus. How did you get rid of those annoying cardboard rings with instructions on coil splitting. They are clamped under the nut that secures the knob.
If you want to see what I'm talking about, check this video:
In the video, the guy talks about stickers, but in fact it is a cardboard, washer-like, ring.
Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks 😉

Thanks 😉 I have the new SC450Plus GT, they are not clamped and are floating loosely (I haven't bothered removing them, yet). I also have the SC450Plus Lemon drop from June 2016, they were indeed stickers back then, they were easily removed by slowly peeling them off. In your case, you would need to loosen the nut (obviously). I know you have no way of holding the pot from behind. I would just rip them as close to the nut as possible, but I tend to be lazy.

I carefully cut a slit in as close to the knob as possible and gently tore the rest off. No damage or scratches easy peasy 😉

No damage or scratches easy peasy 😉 I did that too but unlike you was a bit careless and knocked a chunk off the knob. They aren't very robust. I'm not going to bother replacing it - it's a cheap guitar and I want to keep it that way! I'm very pleased with it but I bought it to play not to look at.
