Its an analogue pedal. I dont think my new power station can be daisy chained because each plug is isolated. Will see once I get the power station and will report

Just mention once again in case some of you are interested to buy the Nux Amp Simulator AS-4 ;
The pedal sure can voice some fine warm cleans and slightly overdriven tones, to very overdriven and all the way into Mesa Boogie territory. So in a sense it can reach all from some warm Fender sound to the hi-gain Mesa (yes even Plexi at about 9 o'clock).
It has a Treble and Bass, Gain (amount of overdrive/distortion) and Level (acts as a normal volume). In comparison to the True Sound from Joyo/Harley Benton pedals it lacks Mids knob and Voice knob which is very important to have to shape the tone even more.
We can conclude that NUX AS-4 has all 4 Joyo True Sound pedals in one box but lacks all those in between tones one could tweak with the separate Joyo True Sound pedals. So what I think is a perfect deal is to get the Joyo/HB American Sound and use the NUX AS-4 in front of it as a drive just like you would do infront of an amp. I will get the American Sound and report. This would be much cheaper than buying all the Joyo True Sound pedals to get very much the same tone and amount of tweak-ability.

Im not sure I will go the Mustang route though. Still considering all the options and what I need for what I mostly do (home recordings and would love a looper). If I have a few good voicing pedals I can make my Kustom sound nice for low volume home use even for recording if I need to. Must ponder ... dont have the moeny yet anyway

Just ordered the NUX Time Core Delay pedal after watching a few you tube videos and realising that is has a 40 sec 24bit looper. I think they took the idea from the TC Electronic Flash Back delay pedal which also has a looper.
After being extremely happy with the NUX Amp Sim, Nux Chorus and Nux Drive Core I will very likely get some more Nux pedals in the future. They sound awesome to my ear.
This delay pedal I ordered from UK so should be in Denmark very soon. will try and make some you tube demos of them all at some stage so keep an eye on this thread!

Why don't you do some reviews on the stuff you have mate? It's always good to read peoples' impressions on their gear. PS: Don't forget to include the downsides too. Those are also important.

I have a flu, very sore left shoulder and neck, a pregnant woman to deal with, and Im applying for jobs, hence no time to review anything. Also I cant compare to anything since I never used any other known brand pedals. I am entirely the New Kid on The Block; I never ever played known brands like Fender, Gibson, never ever used Strymon, Boss, TC, MXR, etc ... pedals. I only ever used affordable brands like Harley Benton and these Chinese Nux pedals. If I am to play a Gibson for example I would do the opposite from most of you lads and gals I would compare the Gibson with my Harley Benton, not the other way around. Same for pedals; I can only talk about the pedal itself without any comparisons. And just to talk about it doesnt cut it because we cant hear it and we dont have same "ears". So I was thinking some short soundcloud demos when I have time where people can hear the sound and judge whether it sounds good or not.

The Nux Amp Sim sounds very nice and the Drive Core also but together is where the magic happens Man, that sound I get from those two is just The Amp Sim makes my Kustom SS amp sound awesome already as it is and when I engage the Drive Core it just goes into a different realm all togteher, it brings a boiling sound, very organic, like a huge wave of pure sonic boiling energy. I have never had the opportunity to hear such in person. My Digitech RP70 is a very nice sounding hi-fi stereo pedal but it just can make this sound Im trying to describe here. Maybe this is the "real tube sound" some of you describe. It sure sounds like something is boiling, but its not anything like fuzz or distortion. It just wants open chords, they sound soooo goooood I will try and record it soon with a mic. I am very happy with the Nux pedals so far. Lets see if the Time Core will also deliver goodness.

You'll be the same as 90% of the folks out there watching the reviews. Who cares what a Strymon or MXR sounds like if the average punter can't afford one? Most of the YouTube reviews are so offputting because the comparisons are meaningless. Main thing is, how nicely does it function and does it make your pregnant woman nauseous?

Now that you mention it One evening I was playing with the Amp Sim and the Drive Core, got that butter warm fat boiling tube sound. I played for at least half an hour and still didnt have her complain to use my headphones instead, which she always does when I use overdrive or distortion. So I asked her if she finds me playing annoying and she said "not really". She said the sound is not harsh so she hardly noticed it (which is positive). For me its all about affordable and that it must sound awesome to my ear, the rest is ego created illusions

Received the NUX Time Core today (from UK) and so far it seems ok. Nothing special on its own and since I have only one power adapter I cant stack more pedals so we just must wait for the Aliexpress power brick to arrive some time this year I hope The Tape and Analogue delay sound ok but the rest has some sort of clipping in the sound so not sure about that. The reverse delay can be useful to create some sound-scapes. The 40 sec Looper is ok but in that case there is no option to use the delay part of the pedal not even to play over the loop. So its either a Looper or a Delay pedal, not both. The looper is easy to use and overdub is also included. All in all, not as impressed as with the other 3 Nux pedals I have but lets see how it goes. EDIT; oh yeah just to add, the 3 way switch has the Tail function which is perfect. When you disengage the delay pedal it allows the delay to spillover , so it doesnt just cut the delay off. Sweet! photo hosting

You don't find many delay units with looper functionality that allow you to do both at the same time [except the more expensive ones]. You can always try to find a second hand Line 6 DL4, Boss DD7 or Akai HeadRush version2. Other than those, you'll have to search for something like a TC Electronic Flashback X4, EHX Memory Man with Azarai, Boss Rc300 and such.... which will cost you.

Most of the YouTube reviews are so offputting because the comparisons are meaningless. Main thing is, how nicely does it function and does it make your pregnant woman nauseous? You said something I find quite interesting there. When I see/read/hear reviews, though subjective and person/gear dependent they might be, I always like to know the CONS of the units being reviewed. And one of the cons most people talk about [those who do... which is almost no one] is how they don't sound like X or Y pedal that costs a lot more/is rare/out of production. Quite frankly I couldn't care less if pedal X sounds like Y, it's all very subjective. But I do care if someone tells me "it sounds muffled" or "it's a loose/tight/super compressed kind of dirt" because those are the things that I may be looking for. And is always great when someone says they bought a pedal after reading/hearing your review and fell in love with that piece of gear.
